Realtree Camo Graphics Company Excels by Satisfying Consumer Demand

 

Hiding things won’t generally get you noticed — unless you’re hiding them in Realtree camouflage.

 

In fact, that’s gained Realtree Camo Graphics, of Slidell, La., plenty of attention. Innovative products, quick reactions and response to consumer feedback have pushed the company to the forefront of the outdoors vinyl wrap market.

 

“We have worked hard to earn the respect of Realtree and are honored to be an exclusive provider of their interior and exterior vinyl applicated products,” said Sam Klement, national sales manager for Realtree Camo Graphics. “It’s been pretty easy to sell and get our products placed. Realtree currently captures approximately 75 percent of the total camouflage market. That means there are a lot of Realtree loyalists who would, given the chance, place our vinyl products on their personal property.”

 

Clement said that might include almost anything. The company makes wraps for guns, boats, vehicles and all-terrain vehicles, of course, but also for many other items, including dove buckets, baseball bats, recreational vehicles and sports cars.

 

“This market is really just starting to grow,” Klement said. “We … are always looking for other ways to make our products better and more appealing. To give you an example, we have recently launched our new Realtree Neoprene Magnetic line, consisting of can coolers, industrial spray-can sleeves, cell phone carriers (and other items). The response thus far has been incredible.”

 

As the camo wrap market expands, consumer demand broadens and diversifies. Klement said Realtree Camo Graphics stays on top of expectations by seeking input from industry partners to strengthen endemic and non-endemic markets, and by staying in touch with its customer base.

 

“We are very agile and react to what are customers are telling us and asking for,” he said. “If we see a need, we try to fill it immediately. That’s the beauty of our company. We are relatively small, but given the application of our products, we essentially have a driving billboard on every vehicle we wrap or accent. We also have some very loyal customers. Our … products are made from the highest-quality vinyl and come with a three-year warranty. Our website is very interactive as well, and we always have a human that someone can talk with when they call our company.

 

“We do a lot of direct-to-consumer shows and have incredible relationships with many of the outdoor television hosts who we partner up with to wrap their personal vehicles. We also have partnered with many non-profits like Tennessee Wildlife Resource Federation, Country Goes Huntin’ (and others) to help put the right influencers in our products. We also are very aggressive at doing social media posts and promotional giveaways with our retailers and partners like Realtree.”

 

Fundamentally, demand for Realtree Camo Graphics products stems from the desire of consumers to show off their favorite camouflage. However, Klement said the appeal goes beyond the cool factor or a lifestyle statement.

 

“I think it goes back to the marketing power behind Realtree,” he said. “They do a phenomenal job of getting the right celebrities and connecting with the consumer through their aggressive licensing partners and events they support. … Realtree has become a lifestyle all by itself. We are simply living in their world. They are great partners, and we do our job to put out quality products that these consumers want on just about everything they own.”
